Meet Benton, age 7, and Brooke, age 3! I had the absolutely best time photographing these two beauties the other night. Seriously, they could not take a bad photo! We had such fun laughing, and giggling, and being silly together. I love that about my job…just being with the kids and having a ball doing what I do and coming up with portraits that I know the parents will love. They brought a change of clothes to the session, and it was almost as if we started over again with fresh spirits and smiles…as if the first 30 minutes in their white dresses didn’t produce enough goodness, right? I just adore everything about this session. Thank you, Meg, for sharing your girls with me. They are precious and beautiful, both inside and out! 🙂

This is one fabulous family! Big sister Hannah, who is 10, with her gorgeous smile and so very sweet little giggle that just warms your heart! And, Mr.Chase, who just finished 2nd grade in the same class as my daughter…who all night long just was lovin’ this photo session and wanted his photo taken any and everywhere I was willing! And, little Mia, who was quiet and demure the entire evening but when she smiled just lit up the place! I so enjoyed my time with these siblings who obviously adore one another, take care of each other, and enjoy laughing together. It was my joy to spend time capturing their world for them! And, not to mention the fun of photographing siblings with some of the most BEAUTIFUL eyes I’ve seen in quite some time. Looooooove!!! Enjoy your sneak peek….so many more to come! 🙂

Which is adorable as well, just maybe not in every photo! 🙂 We had the best time wrangling this little charmer the other night for his one-year-old portraits. He is all boy and just wonderful! Loved all the fun antique props his mom brought along to incorporate into the session. Just makes the photos, in my opinion. There is not much cuter than a sweet little girl with little chunky legs and arms and a smile that lights up the place when she laughs! This is Miss Camille….what a sweetheart! She was the happiest little thing the other night at her portrait session, and at only 7.5 months old she had a lot to say to me! 🙂 I loved her constant babble! It seems like just yesterday that I drove out to little Hailey’s house for her Newborn session and she was no bigger than a minute! And now, here she is having just celebrated her first birthday…wow! Some of the prettiest blue eyes you’d ever want to see on a little one-year-old….loved the way her eyes just sparkled when she giggled and grinned for me. Sweet girl is growing up! What a fun night celebrating all things Hailey and capturing this moment in time for her family. Happy Birthday, little Hailey! 🙂

Fun, fun, fun!! I have so much fun at my job! I adore getting the opportunity to go to new locations, especially when that location is somewhere special to a family. Meet my friends, Martha and Scott and their three amazing and beautiful children-Maggie, Mac and Mary Alice. We’ve been friends for many years, but hardly ever have the chance to see one another anymore. It was so much fun to spend some time together on Saturday night to reconnect, get to know their adorable children, and  to photograph this family in their very own backyard. Their home backs up to this amazing pond and greenbelt area that also has some old stables still on the property. Perfect spot! Loved it! Thank you for the time spent together, Martha and Scott! Oh.my.goodness! I absolutely have the most amazingly beautiful clients!! I recently had the extreme pleasure of photographing my friends, Jeff and Dana, along with their sweet children Delaney and Lawson. Seriously beautiful, y’all!! We met up out at Dana’s mother’s gorgeous backyard-a perfect backdrop for some family portraits as well as some fun ones of the children, too. This family has such fun together!! I loved their easy laughter and interactions together and it was easy to see how they love being together. I so enjoyed our time together! I am always so honored when asked by a friend to photograph their family. This is my first time to photograph these beautiful sisters, Sarah Cathryn and Ellen. Their Mom, Emily, is one of my good friends from my monthly “dinner” club. I’ve so enjoyed getting to know Emily and hearing her stories of her girls over the years. I finally got the opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with them, and they are just joyous and precious! Sweet Sarah Cathryn was quiet and polite, and had the MOST gorgeous freckles and long eyelashes I’ve seen in a long time. Sweet, sweet baby Charlie! This little sweetheart did not sleep a wink the entire Newborn Session yesterday…very uncommon in the world of newborn photography. But, I didn’t care one bit because he was such a good boy for us. Really, really great! We managed to get a lot of fun eyes-wide-open shots that show off his big eyes. He even allowed his precious big sister, my friend Abby, to hold him and be a part of his session without being bothered. This was one good baby. I just love this little family and I am so very happy for them with the addition of their new little guy! Congratulations, my friends, and thank you so very much for inviting me into your home once again to share in this special time.

I can hardly believe that we’ve come to the end of another sweet Little Gifts Newborn Club member’s first year. I truly find it hard to fathom that one year ago this was Miss Allie at just a few days old:

And now, Miss Allie is walking and talking and just as GORGEOUS!!

I’ve been photographing Allie and big sister Nora for many years. This session was to celebrate Allie turning the big ONE and Nora turning FOUR! Wow! I just adore this precious family and have so enjoyed the extra time I’ve gotten to see them this past year. I do believe that despite Allie not feeling 100% at the session, that this is one of the best ones we’ve had yet. Thank you, thank you for sharing your girls with me year after year.
