Miss Personality! Love this little one. She just makes me laugh SO much. Sweet Lily is two and I’ve been photographing her since she was just 3-months-old. She is soo funny and too cute. Big sis, Brianna, came along too and just couldn’t understand “why she couldn’t be in more pictures???” Too cute. So we just had to let her hop in on a few! In looking at these photos, Fall has most definitely arrived! This is my sweet friend, Katie and her family. Katie and I have known one another since college, and it has been so much fun to photograph her beautiful family ever since sweet Olivia was just a couple of years old. It has been “our tradition” to photograph each of her babies in all white when they turn two. This time, it was little Beau’s turn! As Katie said, “It’s the end of an era!” What a fun thing to do! Now, this is fun!! This precious family was a family of 5-Mom, Dad, and 3 boys. Until about two weeks ago, when beautiful Brooklyn Dawn arrived to be a part of this lovely bunch! I can only imagine the fun in store for Miss Brooklyn as she grows up with three big brothers as her friends and protectors. That’s pretty amazing, and she is one blessed little girl. I know her Momma is definitely going to LOVE dressing up her little girl. I am so happy for you guys. Thank you for sharing Brooklyn with me. She is beautiful and such a perfect gift from God! This was Miller Kate one year ago at her fun Fall newborn session! And, this is that sweet girl today! So adorable! 🙂 
It’s been so much fun working with Ashley, Stafford, Graycen and Miller Kate over the last year. We’ve had a great time getting to know one another, and I consider this sweet family to now be my friends. Ashley, Miller Kate’s mom, always has the best ideas for clothing and for the photo sessions. It’s always just lots and lots of fun because I know she is going to come up with something new and different! It has been my joy to watch this baby girl grow up. Thank you for sharing Miller Kate with me this year! I am sad the first year is already over. She is beautiful. Happy Birthday, MK!! 🙂
Oh, how the times have changed! This sweet angel face-LOVE her!! So fun to see her smiling face this morning. Her parents and I were laughing this morning about how when I first started to photograph Taylor several years ago-it was a tough job! She didn’t want to have much to do with the process to be honest. 🙂 However, year-after-year we’ve developed a relationship that is full of laughter and we make it fun. She so enjoyed herself today and although I think I say this every year, this really might be the best year yet. I just LOVE these photos of her! Just perfect! I get the wonderful pleasure of photographing this gorgeous crew almost yearly. And, their momma always knocks it out of the park when it comes to clothing choices. Brooke, I think I need to hire you as 1:17’s clothing consultant! 🙂 Seriously though, Gary and Brooke are my old neighbors and their crew is so sweet. I always love my Mini Sessions! This year, things were no different! Only exception this time around was that I only had previous customers to take part in these sessions. I sent out the dates to previous customers first, and these awesome families filled up all my spots before I even had a chance to make them public! I love,love, love all these wonderful kiddos and their families. You guys make my job such a joy! Jodie and I had a wonderful time seeing everyone and catching up! When I walked in to this session, this is what I saw: big sis,Campbell, and big brother, Houston were carefully watching over their newest family members. So happy to welcome twins, Henry and Murphy Kate, into the world! I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph twins-doesn’t happen very often. And, what fun that it is the newest little ones of a family that I’ve been photographing since Big Brother Houston’s newborn session over 5 years ago. What a blessing to be trusted once again with this family’s most precious memories. The twins were soooo great for their session. I was prepared for it to be chaotic and crying all day long. But, it wasn’t! This momma is a PRO, and these sweet angels slept their entire session-it was so amazing! Can’t wait to watch them grow and learn to love them as the years pass by. I did get lots of good snuggle time, so the love affair has started. Welcome, Henry and Murphy Kate! God picked one of the best families for you to be a part of! 🙂

It was legacy week last week for 1:17 Photography! Little Miss Sawyer was Baby 2 of 4 newborns photographed last week who also had a big brother or sister, or more!, that had been photographed by me for their newborn sessions. Sawyer’s beautiful big sister, Gray, was wide awake for almost her entire newborn session about 3 years ago. And, in family tradition, little sister Sawyer Ross also had her little eyes wide open for the majority of her session last week, too! So funny. But, you know, I’m thankful-because look at her beautiful, big eyes! You’ve got to love that! I am so touched and honored to photograph these girls and be continually welcomed into the homes of my customers. Thank you, Ross and Kimmy, for sharing your family with me. Sawyer, you’ve got an awesome family that really loves you so very much! Welcome, sweet angel! 🙂
Big Sister-SO proud and has the best smiles! 
SOO happy for this amazing family! My friends, Sarah and Craig have themselves a precious new baby boy! Little Hobbs is finally here! Sarah and I have been talking about this session for what seems like “forever”, and finally, the day arrived! He is absolutely perfect and was such a good baby for his big day. He had some pretty big shoes to fill because big brother Hutton has had some pretty awesome sessions with me throughout his little life, and his newborn session is still one of my favorites. Anyone remember “the mailbox” photo? Sarah’s generous and kind friends let us borrow their amazing home for this session and everything about it was practically perfect. I couldn’t be happier about Hobbs arrival and cannot wait to photograph him throughout his first year. Welcome, sweet boy! God has richly blessed you with an amazing family! Congratulations Sarah, Craig and Hutton! Love you guys!
