Isabelle and Everly-A Mini Session…
June 22, 2015These pretty sister’s Mini Session was rained out back in May, so we rescheduled for quick get-together this weekend before another session! I haven’t photographed Isabelle since she was Everly’s age. Such fun catching up and seeing them again and meeting little sister, Everly! Beautiful sweet girls!

Skye is 3!
May 7, 2014Happy, happy birthday to this beautiful girl! This is my sweet little neighbor, Miss Skye! I can hardly believe that today she turns three-years-old! We took these photos two nights ago in about a 15 minute time period. Her mom had me to photograph her specifically for her birthday, and also so that we can use an image from this session for Katie Toombs to paint for  her as well. I think it will be beautiful. Thanks to Christy for sharing your sweet baby with me. And, happy birthday to Skye!
More Mini Sessions!
April 15, 2014I’ve been photographing all of these sweet children since they were merely days old! What a privilege to watch them grow up before my lens. This time, it was for a quick little Mini Session in the gorgeous grasses. I just love these families and love this setting. I couldn’t be more pleased with our results. An Evening in the Fields…
April 2, 2014Wooo-wheeee!!! I am in LOVE with all of these images. I think that this background is one of my new favorites. So clean, classic and a focus on the subject. I love all of these families, and couldn’t be happier for all of them with the fabulous new portraits that they will soon having adorning their walls and homes. That’s enough from me. Announcing…Spring Mini Sessions 2014!
March 19, 2014I’m starting to believe it, are you? Spring is coming!! It is finally starting to warm-up up outside and the sun, which it seems we haven’t seen in weeks, is shining brightly! It’s a beautiful day in Memphis, TN! I’m dreaming of warmer nights grilling out, fresh fruits and veggies from the farmer’s markets, colorful flowers, and soft, green grass beneath my feet. Ahhh….
It’s time again to announce 1:17 Photography’s yearly tradition and customer favorite… Mini Sessions!
How is a Mini Session different from a regular session? Well, it lasts about 15 minutes and you receive approximately 10-15 fully edited custom images. You’d be amazed at what I am able to accomplish in just 15 minutes! It’s quick, painless, and it’s over before the kids(or uncooperative Dads!) know it’s even started!
These sessions are perfect for those that don’t want a full session, have a person in your family who just likes things done quick and efficiently, someone who needs gifts for the grandparents for Mother’s or Father’s Day, or just wants a few quick , simple, and lovely portraits of their favorite kiddo! And again this year, we are going digital! No shopping carts, no hard decisions to pick your favorites! You’ll just get them all on a disc and can use them to your liking. PLUS, if you prefer to print with my professional labs, you will receive 20% off any print or canvas item you purchase through 1:17 Photography from your Spring Mini Session.

Due to the great feedback we received from last year’s Mini Sessions, we will once again offer a couple of different dates each at a different location!
The first location, planned for March 27th, will take place in a local field that has wild grasses growing. Take a look at a few blog posts from some sessions that took place in these fields. I just LOVE the soft, simplistic feel that these photographs have-plus they are a decorator’s dream as their neutral colors will work great in any room. Love these photos in both color and black/white!
