Oh my word, ya’ll know I’m just a sucker for little kids with big eyes, a little boy with a precious little grin, and a pretty little girl in pigtails! And, for this session I got to have all three with Claire and Max! It was a great morning playing out in the fall leaves with these adorable siblings. Loved seeing you all again. I can hardly believe this sweet girl turned a year old on Sunday! It’s been such a fun year watching Miss Lily grow up from a little baby into a big girl. It was a joy to meet with her and her family in the lovely colors of Fall at the Botanic Gardens and celebrate a wonderful first year! Thanks for sharing your lovely girls with me! They are so sweet and beautiful! 🙂

My sweet lil niece is getting so big so very quickly! She has stolen the hearts of our entire family, but especially those of her big sisters. We both found some time in our busy schedules a couple of weeks ago for a quick morning session of Alice, Olivia, and Lucy. I just love these sweet girls so very much, and I’m thrilled to get the opportunity to capture them “growing up” right before my eyes. Love you, girls! Warning: Extreme Cuteness Alert!! Gerber Baby ahead…pinch-able cheeks and all! 🙂 Sweet lil Cooper is getting to be such a big boy! He is sitting and almost ready to crawl any minute. And, he is sooo cute, ya’ll, with a grin that’ll steal your heart! Love working with Cooper and Chase! So proud of big brother, Chase, too. He did such a good job at the session as well. A sweet family, precious boys, and a session full of smiles! A photographer can’t ask for much more than that, can I? Love it!

This FUN family comes to me most years in the fall for their yearly family portraits! I love their laid-back style, laughter and obvious love for each other. They just made me smile and laugh throughout the entire session, and it shows in their portraits. It’s a fun and loving hour of time, captured forever as a memory for these sweet children and their parents to have for years to come. Haven’t said it in a while…but…I sure do LOVE my job!! 🙂

I can hardly believe this beautiful little girl is ONE!! She actually turned one in August, but this smart mom waited a bit so that we could coordinate some photos with big brother as well to use for Christmas Cards. We met up at Brooke’s home and had the best time playing and shooting in their yard, on their steps, and in Brooke’s room. I am in L.O.V.E. with her bedroom. We did photos there for her newborn session and finished up in there today. Beautiful light! A wonderful place to use to bookend Brooke’s first year! Thanks so much for sharing your sweet children with me this past year! 🙂

Oh, how I love sweet little girls! Trick-or-treat happened yesterday…it was Halloween for this little Spook’s newborn photo session. And, without a doubt, she gave us all treats and no tricks. 🙂 Miller Kate was the perfect little angel for her session. We were all so proud of her, and she was soo good and patient with us as we changed her clothes and outfits multiple times-it’s just SO fun to play dress-up with a little girl! We started out the morning with a few family shots, including new big sister, Graycen! So happy for this wonderful family and I look forward to watching lil’ Miller Kate grow up! Congratulations “H” family and welcome to the world, sweet Miller Kate!

Sweet little pumpkin’!!

Oh sweet baby boy, Andrew! Welcome to the world and welcome to a beautiful family! This precious baby boy was an angel for his newborn session yesterday. At only six-days-new, it was my absolute joy to work with this precious family again. I photographed big sister, Emily, several months ago and now she seems like such a big girl. Andrew is a member of our Newborn Club, so their sweet faces will be gracing my camera lens for the next year and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Truly, such an incredibly kind and precious little family. SO happy for ya’ll! 🙂 Enjoy!

How beautiful are these babies, ya’ll? I mean, seriously…

Oh my word, I just want to pack up and live on the golf course at Spring Creek..it is SOOO beautiful out there in the Fall colors! Yesterday was such a gorgeous fall afternoon full of bright colors, warm truly “golden” sunlight, and two fun & energetic boys! Always love my time with these two boys and this was no exception. Can’t wait to do it again next year…but they’ll just have to come find me as I’ll be hanging out on this beautiful course! 🙂

I just LOVE comparing old pictures of sweet children that I’ve photographed down the years as they grow. Here’s sweet little Sadie Ann back in 2006:

And, here she is today, having just celebrated her 10th birthday and sporting some very adorable braces, too! 🙂

There’s something wonderful about things that don’t change. And, this precious family is proof of the phrase, “If it’s not broken, why fix it?” We’ve been meeting for years at Memorial Park…always around 5pm, always near the end of October, and always enjoying ourselves! I love how we chronicle the changes in their family every single year. It is such a joy and privilege to be asked to be a part of capturing their memories for them. Love ya’ll! 🙂
