Graham is Sitting and Smiling at Davies Manor!

So earlier this week I treated you to some images with two of my gorgeous little nieces at our new shooting location, Davies Manor Plantation. Today, it’s time to feast on the cuteness of my little nephew, Graham! I wanted to show that Davies works for little babies, too. 🙂

I cannot believe how quickly this little guy is growing up! He has such a quiet, relaxed spirit and is just a joy! Don’t you just want to eat up his little chunky legs and arms! So adorable! Graham, your Aunt Julie loves you so much! You are a precious little boy!

And, since big sister Kallen came along to help, you know I just had to grab a few of her cute little 4-yr-old self. She was rockin’ those hot pink boots! I want some! 🙂

Hello, gorgeous morning light! And, absolutely stunning little Kallen! Love you, too, you little snuggle bug! Too bad Kinley couldn’t join us, too. 🙁 She was doing important things at school as a big 1st grader!

Olivia and Lucy at Davies Manor!

I have been in business now for almost six years, so it is very exciting to me to find a new spot to photograph! Not that I don’t love all my old standby spots, but the artist in me loves the opportunity to create something new and different. I put out a call several weeks ago on Facebook for some ideas of some new locations. My sweet friend, Amy, reminded me about Davies Manor Plantation. My two children and I went out to explore and I knew right away that Amy was right and that this place presented some amazing spots for photography. I’ve been negotiating with the sweet ladies that run the place and finally got the “a-ok” to start doing sessions there. I see so much potential here for all different kinds of looks for photo sessions. I can see pretty white dresses, and I see cowboy boots. I see blue jeans and I see twirly colorful dresses. I see families and babies, too!

To give you your first peek at what is offered here, I snagged my sister’s two little girls for a quick session the other day. This is “Liv ‘n’ Lu” from our framing company, by the way. Aren’t my nieces just BEAUTIFUL! Love them and so proud of who they are. Don’t worry, all of you with boys and little ones, I have a session planned in the next few days with my 6-month-old nephew as well.

So take a look at my beautiful nieces, the gorgeous Davies Manor and know that this is a spot I highly recommend for your next photo session. In fact, this will be the location for one of our upcoming Fall Mini Sessions. Details to follow one day next week! Enjoy! 🙂

Max is 3!

You know it’s going to be a fun session when the first thing out of your little subject’s mouth is “I’m 3 now! Do you want to smell my hair?” 🙂 LOVE! So cute and random and that’s what being 3 is all about! Little Max is growing up so quick and we had the best time hanging out the other night. Max is so cute. He loves basketball and will do anything for a little bag of Skittles. Gotta love that! I adore his different little faces and looks that we captured for his sweet Mom and Dad. He was SO good and I just had a blast hanging out with him. Happy Birthday to you, Max!

Coco is One Year Old!

Another Little Newborn Club Baby has turned One! Remember Miss Coco at her newborn session? So sweet…

Well, look at her now!

It is utterly amazing to me how very much these sweet babies change within their first year. Coco is such a beautiful little girl with sweet smiles. She loves to clap, loves laughing at her brother, and has definitely stolen her Mom and Dad’s hearts. It’s been such a joy to watch her grow and capture these milestones in her first year of life. Happy, happy Birthday to you, Coco!! 🙂

And since I was there, we captured a few of big brother, Sam, as well as a family picture, too. Love ’em! A true picture of this family as they are at this moment in time…

Jack and Sarah!

Oh, what a gorgeous session this turned out to be! Sometimes, I when I leave a session I can hardly wait to get home and download the photos to see the results because I just know that they turned out good. This was one of those sessions. Two adorable children, two gorgeous parents, beautiful light, perfect wardrobe choices, temps just warm enough to give everyone a “glow”, and one sweet family! Awesome! Jack is 6 and Sarah is almost 3 and both are beautiful and fun children. I haven’t seen them in almost 2 years and I couldn’t believe how much they’d all grown up…that happens! 🙂 I adore everything about this session and am so happy for you all that they turned out so great. Shea and Laurie, just so you know, the pics after “the event” of the evening did turn out really cute, I just had so many cute ones from before the clothes change that I chose to highlight them here! I struggled with choosing which ones to blog because there were just so many great ones. Yay! So many more beautiful ones to come soon. Thanks for sharing your sweet family with me! Enjoy!

Hudson and Emery

I am always amazed at how blessed I am in having beautiful families to photograph. This family was no exception! Not only were they gorgeous, but also fun and laid back. A perfect combination for a photo shoot on a hot summer day. Hudson, the 4 year old charmer, kept me laughing the entire photo session with his cute poses and silly faces. Then, sweet Emery…oh little cutie-pie! This was one sweet little miss who was SO focused on learning to crawl that we had a hard time keeping her interested in much else. And then there were 7!

Grandchildren, that is! Wow! I’ll have to admit, knowing I had a group of 7 little ones on my schedule was definitely a bit intimidating to say the least. But, I shouldn’t have worried because this group of cousins was just perfect! I’ve grown up in church with the parents of these children and it was such fun to be able to capture them all for Ms.Vicki and Mr.Ronnie. They all did such a wonderful job and were gorgeous in their blues and browns. Beautiful family, beautiful children and sweet memories! Enjoy!

Cutie Jeffrey!

Y’all are gonna love this little cutie! Meet 2-yr-old Jeffrey! This little guy just stole my heart with his big blue eyes, and sweaty blonde hair and red cheeks. He is just CUTE! He had a great time playing in Arlington the other night and was such a little trooper in temps that were less than ideal for a photo session. He loves his tractor! He loves his cowboy boots! And, he loved me telling him not to smile. 🙂 Proof that I am funny…at least to some…as he couldn’t stop laughing at me every time I said it. Natalie, Caroline and Anna Kate

I love when life “comes back around”! This week I was honored to photograph the family of one a dear friend from college days. Amy and Troy have three gorgeous daughters…absolutely gorgeous…with beautiful and fun personalities to match! Natalie, the oldest and a dancer, who is just about to start her first year of High School and who obviously is adored by her little sisters. Miss Caroline is the middle child and so sweet and adorable. She also reminds me the most of her mom in looks! 🙂 And, then there is Miss Anna Kate, who is charming and SO funny. Kept me laughing the whole time. Even though it was a truly hot Memphis afternoon, we found a nice shady spot and had a great time together. Amy and Troy, I know you are so very proud of your family. They are beautiful little ladies inside and out! Hope you love what you see here…lots more to come! 🙂

Lainey is almost 4!

I’ve been photographing this beautiful little girl since she was only a few days old. There are some people who just cannot take a bad photograph…Lainey is one of those lucky people! This little lady is so precious. Full of personality, imagination, smiles, deep thoughts, and to top it off…she gives a GREAT hug! I adore all of these photos and am so happy with the colors of summer that come through in these photographs. Thank you, Aimee and Russ, for continuing to choose me to capture your little girl year after year. I know you know this…but she is awesome! Enjoy! 🙂
