SOO happy for this amazing family! My friends, Sarah and Craig have themselves a precious new baby boy! Little Hobbs is finally here! Sarah and I have been talking about this session for what seems like “forever”, and finally, the day arrived! He is absolutely perfect and was such a good baby for his big day. He had some pretty big shoes to fill because big brother Hutton has had some pretty awesome sessions with me throughout his little life, and his newborn session is still one of my favorites. Anyone remember “the mailbox” photo? Sarah’s generous and kind friends let us borrow their amazing home for this session and everything about it was practically perfect. I couldn’t be happier about Hobbs arrival and cannot wait to photograph him throughout his first year. Welcome, sweet boy! God has richly blessed you with an amazing family! Congratulations Sarah, Craig and Hutton! Love you guys!

September 26, 2013Absolute perfection, that’s how this session has to be defined! A precious family with the miracle of their new addition, Mr.Cohen! There’s not a whole lot of “firsts” that happen for me anymore in my sessions after doing this for so many years; however, yesterday’s newborn session was a “first” in that the entire session was shot outdoors in my backyard! Loved that Cohen’s Mom and Dad were open to doing shots outdoors. I think it makes this session so beautiful and very unique. I tell parents all the time that the happiest my newborns usually are is if we can get them outdoors. For obvious weather reasons, this cannot happen at every session; but, I’d encourage those of you that have babies during the nice weather to consider do many shots outdoors. The babies truly love it! Cohen was so happy the entire afternoon and barely made a sound-quite impressive since he is already 2 weeks old and getting past the “sleepy” stage a bit. I am sooo thrilled for this beautiful family. What a beautiful gift God has given you in Cohen. Thank you for sharing these special moments with me and allowing me to capture your joy! 🙂 
Can I just say how much I love these brother shots? Big brother Cole was amazing with all of his shots-so many precious ones and too many to showcase here. He is just darling and I could eat him up! I know he is thrilled to have a little brother…esp when the ultrasound said he was getting a baby sister!! Whoops! HA. Love it! 🙂 
Mays is Sitting and Smiling!
September 19, 2013I just LOVE this sweet baby girl! Aww, I really could’ve just sat and snuggled up on her all night long. And played with her beautiful hair, and made these pretty eyes just shine when we would make her laugh! But, I had a job to do, and it wasn’t all that bad. 🙂 I have had the joy of photographing little Mays since she was in her Mommy’s tummy months ago; and, what a doll she has turned into. I always love working with Logan, Simone and now baby Mays! Thanks for a fun evening guys, as always! Mays is quite the little charmer, she absolutely has my heart! 🙂

Molly Kate is sitting and Smiling!
June 17, 2013Molly Kate, what a little beauty! 🙂 After a couple of rescheduled sessions due to sickness, etc. it was so much fun to see this sweet girl getting so very big! To me, she looks just like her big brothers at this age…only more beautiful…if that’s even possible! I just adore this family, and Molly Kate’s mom is one of my sweetest friendships to develop over the past 8 years in the business. Just love you, Erika! Thank you for sharing your family with me. I am so honored to capture moments like this for you. I hope you love these. Lots more to come soon!

June 13, 2013I am such a lucky lady!! Just look at what I got to play with on Monday night…this precious girl and her sweet family!
Miller Kate is just gorgeous and what a fun night we had playing dress-up with her! 🙂 Sweet girl didn’t care so very much for being hot and snuggled by the family, but she rallied like all beautiful ladies do and pulled it out for some amazing photos despite the heat! Such a joy to watch these little ones grow up, and I’ve been “watching” her grow since she was in mommy’s tummy! Every session just gets more fun than the last. Andrew is Sitting and Smiling!
June 3, 2013What a fun family…love this bunch!! I haven’t seen Andrew and Emily since he was just days old at his newborn session back in October. Such a big boy now, and full of smiles, giggles, and cute little grins. He sure does looooove his Momma and his sister, too. This was the perfect way to start out my Monday morning, and just loved our results. Just fun and loving all around!! 🙂

For some reason, lil Cooper was really, really sleepy at our session. But, to be honest, as much as I love the smiles, I really also love the sleepy, pouty looks my camera found as well.
This next one however, just makes me laugh out loud!! I love this! He is OVER me at this point. hehe! Love you lil Cooper man! Happy 1st birthday!! Thanks for sharing your last year with me!

Such a happy, happy girl! 🙂 I couldn’t get enough of her in her sweet and traditional little smocked dress, the gorgeous spring flowers, her laughter, her smiles, her wonder at all that was around her, her JOY!! It was just such a great session. I have so enjoyed every session of this last year with this fun family. Happy Birthday, beautiful girl (a few months late!) What a joy you are! March 22, 2013Wow!! Sometimes you just get really, truly blessed by those who are brought into your life. This wonderful family is one such gift in my life. I can hardly believe it’s been a year since this photo of little newborn Benjamin was taken. Look how sweet they were then…
And, even more so now! LOVE!
This amazing family has truly been such a joy to work with this past year. I am so in love with this little boy. And, I am heartbroken knowing this was our last session together. Benjamin’s momma is a pediatric oncologist at St.Jude, but in a few months, they will be returning back “up north” to be closer to their families and she will be taking a job at a hospital there. I can’t say that I blame them for heading back home, but I sure am going to miss you guys! You are truly a light in this world, and your joy for life and sweet spirits are something I will always remember. Thank you, thank you for allowing me to share in Benjamin’s first year. May God richly bless you!

Benjamin’s first birthday party is going to be a Hungry Caterpillar theme from the Eric Carle books. How precious is little B in his caterpillar outfit? I just ADORE the one of him reading the book. I mean, so sweet! 🙂
Awaiting Baby “M”!
January 15, 2013I am so excited about this next year and spending some special milestone moments with this fun couple as they are one of my newest families to take part in the Little Gifts Newborn Club. Simone and Logan are awaiting the arrival of their first child sometime within the next few weeks. They are so very excited, and can’t wait to find out if they need to run out and buy pink or blue for their newborn session! They wanted to capture some photographs of them together as two before they are a family of three! Can you believe how beautiful Simone is? I mean, seriously, who is this fabulous with only a few weeks to go until delivery? Beautiful! I had so much fun laughing with these two, and enjoying a 70 degree day in January! We couldn’t believe our luck. I’m so happy for you both, and cannot wait to get that phone call soon that I’ve got another session to schedule…and if I should bring blue hats or pink! 😉
