Baby twin boys!! Aren’t they just beautiful? Meet Max and Jack, newborn brothers of Dorothy and Wilson! These four are entirely too sweet and were so good during their session. This is such a sweet , sweet family and I couldn’t be happier for them. I know the next few weeks will likely be tough, but this crew can do it! What a beautiful blessing-two healthy big boys and two wonderful helpers in big brother and sister. Congratulations to you all, my friends! 🙂

June 6, 2014Sweet babies! My goodness it took a lot for this session to happen. This poor family had to reschedule so many times this spring due to crazy cold or rainy weather. So glad yesterday worked out so nicely for them as it was a perfect morning for photographing two adorable little angel babies. 🙂 I can’t believe how quickly they are growing up! Time flies when you are having fun with your twin brother or your twin sister! 🙂

March 23, 2014Oh, what a sweet little boy! I had so much fun with this wonderful family on Friday as we welcomed sweet Matthew in his first official portrait session! What a little hunk of love! And, all that hair? Swoon! He really was determined that he was NOT going to go to sleep and miss out on the big party. haha! But, finally, he tuckered out and we were able to take advantage of the beautiful spring temperatures and do some shoots outdoors. Outdoor newborn photos are my favorite. So beautiful! Matthew is going to be a series regular on the blog over the next year. Cannot wait to see him grow! Congratulations, Kate and Matt! So happy for your wonderful family! 🙂

February 17, 2014The first baby girl of the year for 1:17 photography’s newborn club was the perfect angel! Sweet Mary Elizabeth barely made a peep throughout her session and was a little star in her first portrait session ever! Her beautiful nursery was the perfect setting for some absolutely adorable photos of this baby. Mom and Dad are so in love with her and it’s easy to see why! 🙂 I can’t wait to see her grow throughout this first year. So happy for this family. Congratulations!

Molly Kate is ONE!
November 6, 2013Another sweet baby girl is one! Look at this week baby girl one year ago, and now! She knew then and now how to make some pink frills look good! 🙂 Molly Kate was such a trooper yesterday. We know that she wasn’t feeling 100% with the double ear infections she was fighting off, but she was such a good girl! I love all the outfit choices and her sweet smiles. Erika, what a joy it has been to photograph all three of your babies throughout their first years. Happy Birthday to you, Molly Kate! You are beautiful! 🙂

November 6, 2013Amazing the change a year can make! Look at this sweet boy last year and now! He definitely has always had his own signature look=cuteness! 🙂 Andrew’s one year session was such fun. He just made me smile with his awesome crawl/walk on his knees he has going on. It was the best!! And, he brought along big sister, Emily and both Mom and Dad, too, for some family photos. It was a fun morning with this family. I’ve so enjoyed this last year with them and sad to know it’s over. Happy first birthday, sweet Andrew!! 🙂

This was Miller Kate one year ago at her fun Fall newborn session! And, this is that sweet girl today! So adorable! 🙂 
It’s been so much fun working with Ashley, Stafford, Graycen and Miller Kate over the last year. We’ve had a great time getting to know one another, and I consider this sweet family to now be my friends. Ashley, Miller Kate’s mom, always has the best ideas for clothing and for the photo sessions. It’s always just lots and lots of fun because I know she is going to come up with something new and different! It has been my joy to watch this baby girl grow up. Thank you for sharing Miller Kate with me this year! I am sad the first year is already over. She is beautiful. Happy Birthday, MK!! 🙂
Welcome, Henry and Murphy Kate!
October 21, 2013When I walked in to this session, this is what I saw: big sis,Campbell, and big brother, Houston were carefully watching over their newest family members. So happy to welcome twins, Henry and Murphy Kate, into the world! I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph twins-doesn’t happen very often. And, what fun that it is the newest little ones of a family that I’ve been photographing since Big Brother Houston’s newborn session over 5 years ago. What a blessing to be trusted once again with this family’s most precious memories. The twins were soooo great for their session. I was prepared for it to be chaotic and crying all day long. But, it wasn’t! This momma is a PRO, and these sweet angels slept their entire session-it was so amazing! Can’t wait to watch them grow and learn to love them as the years pass by. I did get lots of good snuggle time, so the love affair has started. Welcome, Henry and Murphy Kate! God picked one of the best families for you to be a part of! 🙂
