Miss Emery is One!

That was then…one year ago:

And, this is now! Emery Kate is now one year old!

I can hardly believe how quickly time flies! It seems like just yesterday that Emery’s Mom and Dad were telling us that they were pregnant with her! We had such a fun evening last night photographing this big milestone in Emery’s little life. She was all smiles and giggles and barely seemed to notice that her Mom and I were a big sweaty mess from the heat! Didn’t bother her one bit! She just smiled and charmed her way through the whole thing. Absolutely adorable. Happy, happy birthday to you sweet little girl! 🙂

Joey is One!

This was precious little Joey only a year ago:

And, this is Joey today! He is a walking, “talking” bundle of cute 1-yr-old!

He is such a happy boy and so very loved! This little sweet boy is loved so very much that his Aunt and his “G-Daddy” both came to help him smile! And, he got the opportunity to take some family photos, too. I just love this sweet family! Happy one year birthday, Joey!! 🙂

Gray is Sitting and Smiling!

I cannot believe how big and beautiful Miss Gray has become! Well, to be honest, she’s always been quite beautiful. 🙂 Now she just keeps on growing up, too! I had the honor of photographing Gray for her “Sitting and Smiling” session on Saturday along with her sweet parents. I absolutely adore the images we captured of their family and hope that it conveys their sweet love for each other. They are happy, make each other laugh and smile, give sweet snuggles and, most importantly, they ALL smile with unmeasured pleasure at the fun of Miss Gray being tossed in the air by her Daddy. Graham is Sitting and Smiling at Davies Manor!

So earlier this week I treated you to some images with two of my gorgeous little nieces at our new shooting location, Davies Manor Plantation. Today, it’s time to feast on the cuteness of my little nephew, Graham! I wanted to show that Davies works for little babies, too. 🙂

I cannot believe how quickly this little guy is growing up! He has such a quiet, relaxed spirit and is just a joy! Don’t you just want to eat up his little chunky legs and arms! So adorable! Graham, your Aunt Julie loves you so much! You are a precious little boy!

And, since big sister Kallen came along to help, you know I just had to grab a few of her cute little 4-yr-old self. She was rockin’ those hot pink boots! I want some! 🙂

Hello, gorgeous morning light! And, absolutely stunning little Kallen! Love you, too, you little snuggle bug! Too bad Kinley couldn’t join us, too. 🙁 She was doing important things at school as a big 1st grader!

Hudson and Emery

I am always amazed at how blessed I am in having beautiful families to photograph. This family was no exception! Not only were they gorgeous, but also fun and laid back. A perfect combination for a photo shoot on a hot summer day. Hudson, the 4 year old charmer, kept me laughing the entire photo session with his cute poses and silly faces. Then, sweet Emery…oh little cutie-pie! This was one sweet little miss who was SO focused on learning to crawl that we had a hard time keeping her interested in much else. Reed rides solo!

When you are the youngest of 4 children, I would guess that it’s not very often you get to have moments all to yourself! 🙂 I have photographed Reed before with his big brother and sisters, but this week it was all about him. Just him. The baby of the family. His cute little hands with fat dimples. His cute laugh. His adorable little crinkle-nose smile when he looks at his Momma. And, his BIG BLUE EYES! oh my! Swoon. Wes and Jake…

What a sweet family of little boys! Meet 2-year-old, Wes and his new little 3-month-old little brother, Jake! Photographing children these ages definitely has its challenges, but these sweet boys did such a great job the other night. I so enjoyed meeting little Wes with his charming little smile, eagerness to please his parents, and constant on-the-go movement as he explored the world around him. And, precious little Jake…oh my! This little blue-eyed boy is so adorable and had the sweetest smile, especially for his Mommy! Gotta love a Mommy smile. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your boys with me, Tori and Daniel. Jeremiah is Sitting and Smiling!

Mr.Jeremiah! Love this little cutie pie! I can hardly believe how quickly he is growing up. Seems like just yesterday he was looking like this:And, now he is sitting like a champ, smiling his adorable little charming smile, and most definitely has his Mommy and Daddy wrapped around his cute little fingers! 🙂 But, who can blame them when they get to see this little face every day? How could you not fall in love? Jeremiah did so good at his session and I was so proud of him. It was past his bedtime, the temps were beyond what any reasonable person should have to sit through and still look “fresh”, and he’d been not feeling so hot days before. However, he was a little rock star and showed up big time for his big moment. I am so very happy with our results and still so happy for Jon and Miranda! Love you guys! Enjoy your sneak peek! 🙂

Beautiful Isabella!

What a beauty this sweetie is! Meet Miss Isabella (you know I’m lovin’ her name!). Isabella was born in Hawaii (lucky girl!) and her awesome parents are in the Navy. They just recently moved to the Memphis area for the next 5 years and I am so happy to have them join my 1:17 family! Isabella’s Daddy was stationed in Afghanistan a couple of years ago….thank you! And, her beautiful mom is also in the Navy as well. We had the best time on Saturday morning getting to know one another and enjoying Isabella’s beautiful smiles even though it was beyond hot outside! Jamin and Channell, you are blessed with a sweet and beautiful little girl and your family is such a joy! Welcome to Memphis! So glad to have “y’all”! 🙂

Meet Rett and Family!

Now this is one gorgeous family! So beautiful, each one of them! And, so sweet! Mr.Rett has some of the cutest little chubby baby legs I’ve seen in awhile….love ’em! And don’t even get me started on his little dimples. Just melt me! We had a great time Friday night photographing Rett. He is obviously the joy of his parents lives. I love their story. They met at 15 years old and have been together ever since. Now look at what God has blessed them with-a precious little baby boy with killer eyes, dimples and legs! 🙂 You gotta love a story like that.
