SOO happy for this amazing family! My friends, Sarah and Craig have themselves a precious new baby boy! Little Hobbs is finally here! Sarah and I have been talking about this session for what seems like “forever”, and finally, the day arrived! He is absolutely perfect and was such a good baby for his big day. He had some pretty big shoes to fill because big brother Hutton has had some pretty awesome sessions with me throughout his little life, and his newborn session is still one of my favorites. Anyone remember “the mailbox” photo? Sarah’s generous and kind friends let us borrow their amazing home for this session and everything about it was practically perfect. I couldn’t be happier about Hobbs arrival and cannot wait to photograph him throughout his first year. Welcome, sweet boy! God has richly blessed you with an amazing family! October 7, 2013Stunningly Beautiful! Just absolutely gorgeous-both inside and out-that is the best description I can think of for these precious girls. I have photographed these sweethearts several times before, and every time my camera gets the pleasure of photographing their pretty smiles, blue eyes, and big personalities I am blown away by how absolutely stunning they really are! It was a joy to get to photograph them on their home turf this time and utilize their beautiful neighborhood “out in the country”. I just love the simplicity of the gravel road and the tall wild grass. One of my favorite sessions I’ve done this fall so far. Thanks, Jennifer and Michael for sharing your babies with me! I know you are so very proud of them! 🙂

October 2, 2013Sweet baby boys!! I always enjoy being able to photograph families in their own homes. It just is such a relaxed and special place for the children and family to be. These sweet boys were absolutely no different. They just made me smile the entire session with their big, expressive blue eyes. Their interactions together were just adorable. Thank you, “S” family for inviting me into your world for a little while…it’s a pretty wonderful place to be! 🙂

September 14, 2013There’s been a rush of beautiful little sweethearts born lately, and Miss Hallie Claire is the newest little darling to join the world! Hallie was such a good girl for her session. She adored being outside and slept so peacefully. She is sooo pretty and so very tiny, just weighing in at 5lb 14oz the day before our session. So petite and precious, and I loved her!! 🙂 I’ve been working with this family since big brother was a little baby himself, so it was fun to see Mr.Brecon become a big brother. The pictures of Hallie and Brecon together are now quite possibly my new favorites for sibling shots. And, there’s several more that I didn’t include in this post that are so cute. Fun times! Congratulations to the wonderful “H” family. I am so happy for you guys! Congratulations!

September 1, 2013Look at this precious angel! What a beautiful little boy Mr.Brooks is! 🙂 Sometimes, a sweet baby just doesn’t want to sleep very much at his session. He just wants to see what is going on in the world! Brooks was determined not to sleep for his session-no matter what tricks we all tried to play on him! But, it was no problem at all. We still managed to capture his sweetness. Just look at the joy his Mom and Dad have as they look at him. Their smiles say it all!! I’ve been doing this for many years now, and it still “gets” me as I got all misty-eyed watching this sweet family adore their little boy. Congratulations, Blair and Daniel! Brooks is just precious, and I know you are so in love. Who wouldn’t be? Just look at that face! 😉

August 27, 2013Beautiful Avery is here! This sweet baby girl was one of the most well-behaved little newborns I have had in quite some time. She never made a peep throughout the entire session, and slept “like a baby”! 🙂 So happy for this family and their gorgeous addition. Congratulations, Rebecca and Brian…she is perfect!! 🙂 
Welcome, Barrett!!
August 21, 2013Every sweet newborn that I am privileged to photograph, is such a gift from God. Every one is a true miracle. This sweet boy gets an extra boost in the miracle department and a standing ovation for being a tough little fighter! Meet little Barrett, only a little over 4 pounds, delivered at 33 weeks due to some complications, and 100% a little miracle. At 7 weeks premature, and weighing less than half of what many of my newborns weigh at sessions, I was in awe of how awesome he is doing! Much credit has to go the wonderful staff at the hospital and mostly to his awesome Momma and Daddy and big brother, Bryant, for getting this little man up and fighting! What a joy for me to snuggle and feed him yesterday…learned there is a special way to feed a preemie baby…I had no idea! 🙂 Thank you, God, for the gift and miracle that is this beautiful baby boy. You will see in the 2nd photo below a Bible verse that Heather had painted for his nursery, long before she had any idea that his arrival would be so much earlier than expected. God knows every day of our lives and has it planned out. HE knew how much this verse would come to mean to this family regarding little Barrett. ” For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11″ Amen!
Welcome, Cannon!
August 8, 2013GO TIGERS GO!!! As a huge Tigers fan, y’all know I was pretty excited about this University of Memphis themed newborn session. Sweet little Cannon was about 14 days old at his shoot, so a bit older than my normal newborn sessions. But, it made for some fun open-eyed shots of this little red headed soon-to-be Tiger fan. Cannon’s Daddy is on staff at the U of M Athletic Dept so his awesome Mom planned a session with lots of Tiger gear. Loved it, and loved this family! Congratulations, Cannon is just perfect! 🙂
Welcome, Luke!
May 15, 2013I am SOOO happy for this beautiful family! My sweet friends, Jennifer and Scott, just welcomed their 4th child into the world last week. What a privilege to get to photograph 6-day-new Luke! He is was absolutely perfect angel for his session, and his big sisters and brother were wonderful as well. It’s not often that you get four children to cooperate so beautifully. This is such a beautiful family! What a wonderful gift Luke is to their family already! I loved so many photos from this session, I truly had a hard time narrowing them down for the sneak peek. He’s just beautiful…have I said that yet? Congratulations to all of you! Luke, you’ve got a wonderful family that God has given to you. 🙂 You are a blessed little boy!

April 18, 2013Gorgeous, gorgeous girls!! Welcome, sweet little Andrea Dawn! This is the 2nd little girl in this family I have been privileged to photograph. What a joy! I can hardly believe how big and beautiful big sister, Norah Grace, has become. She was SOOO proud of her new little sister, and just so very sweet to her. I loved that the whole family was in on this session, mom/dad, big sis, Grandma and even Great-Grandma! There was a cousin there, too! This is one very loved little girl. So thankful she is here and safe! Thank you for sharing your daughter with me. It was so much fun spending time with all of you again. Hope you love this little peek….lots more to come! Enjoy!
