In looking through these proofs from this session, I just kept grinning! You have to love little boys full of energy, laughter, and giggles! Saturday was just beautiful outside in Memphis, until about 3:30pm, which is just about when this family’s session was slated to start. The clouds darkened, the lightning was off in the distance, and inside I was beginning to panic. But, I should’nt have worried. God was good and the rain happened all around us; but, we were able to get the session completed with no problems! YAY! And, I am so very glad because this set of siblings was so gorgeous and sweet and ready to go! We managed to get lots of smiles and sweet moments…I’d call it a huge success! My sweet lil niece is getting so big so very quickly! She has stolen the hearts of our entire family, but especially those of her big sisters. We both found some time in our busy schedules a couple of weeks ago for a quick morning session of Alice, Olivia, and Lucy. I just love these sweet girls so very much, and I’m thrilled to get the opportunity to capture them “growing up” right before my eyes. Love you, girls! Love this family!!! I’ve been photographing these two sweethearts for many, many years; and, it never gets old how absolutely sweet and cute they both are. We had SO much fun photographing in a “new to them” location yesterday. I had the hardest time dwindling down their proofs…they were seriously all that great! It’s always one of my favorite things to see families year after year and watch them as they grow and change. Thank you so much, “R” family for continuing to share your story with my camera lens. Meet the absolutely gorgeous and stunning Stephanie! We had the best time last night just laughing together and talking. I love, love, love that she brought along her entire family to the session, including their adorable little dog! It was very clear to me that this is a tight knit group that loves being together and laughing together. Stephanie has the best laugh and smile and her eyes are just to die for gorgeous! It was my honor and joy to photograph her for her senior portraits. I know that this sweet girl will go far in her life; and, what a privilege to capture her just as she is right now. And, this little sweetheart is looking adorable! I just love the photos from her session that we did with her parents. There is such a love and warmth reflected and, to me, it is so easy to feel the love these three have for one another just by looking at these images. Mary Frances is a member of the Newborn Club, and I am so excited to watch her grow. This is a FUN family, and so full of love…not to mention, their little girl is a joy! Sisters=LOVE!!! Ya’ll know my love affair with shooting sisters, right? Imagine my excitement when last night I got to photograph four of them…all absolutely beautiful, with sweet personalities and dressed completely adorable compliments of their momma’s amazing sewing skills! Emerson is the oldest at 6, Palmer is almost 5, Hudson is 3, and little Crawford is about to turn 2! This is one busy group! I’ve known this sweet family for quite some time. We go to church together and recently became neighbors! They live just a few houses down from me on my street…aren’t I a lucky girl? 🙂 I loved our time together, complete with group shots, ladybug drama, individual shots including some hilarious roll around in the grass moments as well as documenting two of the sisters birthdays. After we finished our main session, we changed Palmer and Crawford into equally adorable outfits to mark their turning 5 years and 2 years very soon! Thank you, Tracy and Ryan, for sharing your beautiful little ladies with me! They are just precious and I know you are so proud of them. Enjoy…

Fall is on the way! Know how I know this? Because yesterday I did a maternity session for someone whose little one is due late October…and if the maternity session is happening, then Fall is right around the corner! I had such fun with this sweet family. Ashley, Stafford, and big sister Graycen are all so excited about the new little girl that’s about to join their family soon! Little Miller is going to be a part of our Little Gifts Newborn Club so look to see her sweet face gracing this blog several times over the next year. I am so excited for you guys! Can’t wait for her to get here soon. I hope you love your sneak peek! 🙂
It’s been about 8 months since I have seen this beautiful girl…last time I saw her she was only days old! Now she is sitting, smiling, laughing and crawling everywhere! And, she is still absolutely gorgeous! We woke up on Saturday morning to an unanticipated rain shower, and so became the big question of my life as a photographer: cancel, reschedule or move ahead as planned?! It’s always so very hard to know what to do. Luckily, Natalie’s mom is super cool and flexible and was willing to move ahead since Natalie was bringing along her siblings who have busy lives of their own as a college sophomore, high school senior and an 8th grader! I’m so very glad we decided to work in the rain. Thank goodness for old cotton gins! You’d never know it from looking at these photos, but it was pouring down rain almost the entire time we were shooting! But, I love our results and this fun family for rolling with what we were dealt that day! So beautiful and such a fun time! 🙂

I love this idea! Janet is about to celebrate an important birthday milestone…a big one…but I’m not about to say which one! I bet you’d never guess it though, because Janet is looking FABULOUS!! As a birthday gift to herself, she decided to have some professional photographs taken of herself. She just completed an intense workout program and made significant accomplishments!! What better way to celebrate yourself! 🙂 And, to add to the fun, she brought along her daughter, Caitlin, and we spent the evening celebrating the special bond between mother and daughter. It doesn’t take long in their presence to see the love and devotion these two have toward one another. Thank you, Janet, for allowing me to spend time with you two! I hope you love your sneak peek!
