Weston, Class of 2014…

November 12, 2013

Weston is a great guy and I so enjoyed spending a few quick minutes with him last week photographing him for his senior portraits. His very smart Mother asked me if we could just do a Mini Session for him, because let’s face it, he’s a guy and guys really aren’t so crazy about photo sessions. πŸ™‚ So, we did this quick and fast and hopefully for Weston-relatively painless! Congratulations on your Senior Year, Weston! Only greater things lie ahead for you…I’m sure of it!

Ian, AHS Class of 2014…

September 17, 2013

What an exciting time of life! Ian is a Senior, and his last year of high school is flying by quickly! We had a great time meeting up last night, and he brought along his entire family, which was great because they helped provide lots of entertainment and laughter. Plus, little sister, Peyton even jumped in on a few shots, too. Soo glad that she did because they are such a cute sibling pair. πŸ™‚ Ian plans to attend the University of Memphis next fall, which, of course, I think is AWESOME! Go Tigers Go!! Congratulations to you, Ian! May God always protect your path and guide your footsteps!Β

Matt and Lacey…

June 21, 2013

Oh, how I adore this family! For those of you who do not know, I used to teach school before I was a photographer. Years ago, at Bartlett Elementary I was a young and scared new teacher. There were so many kind ladies there who took me under their wings, taught me the ropes, and whom I was privileged to call my friends. One such friend was Matt and Lacey’s mom, Lee. Even though I’ve not been at that school in many years, Lee and I have remained friends. It was such an honor for her to contact me and ask me to photograph some milestone events for her two children. For Matt, these are his senior portraits and for Lacey, she just turned 13! These are AMAZING kids!! Matt, who is about to start his senior year at Arlington High School, is awesome. He plays on the football team, takes honors classes, an Eagle scout, and dreams of attending University of Alabama next year! He and his Dad spent six years rebuilding his car(pictures below). That car is sooo cool! And, Miss Lacey, is just a stunner. She has such a sweet smile, and is obviously the one in the family who can easily make everyone laugh. This brother/sister duo is one that I hope my two children can be like in the future. I am so proud of these children, and very proud of my friends Lee and Bruce. They’ve done an awesome job in raising up two amazing children. Matt and Lacey, thanks for making my night so much fun. Enjoy your sneak peek! Soooo many more to come!Β  Untitled-1 Untitled-2

Awaiting Avery…

June 21, 2013

Hello, gorgeous!! πŸ™‚ Meet Rebecca and Brian…a beautiful couple and so much fun! I’ve known these two for many years as Rebecca and my husband have worked together for a long time. She tries her best to keep him in line at the office-hard job, I am sure!! πŸ™‚ I was honored that they asked me to capture some moments for them of their last few weeks as a party of two. Miss Avery will be arriving very soon, and this sweet family will suddenly become a family of three! I cannot wait to meet her. I can only imagine how beautiful she will be, and my bet is on her eyes to be stunning. If she takes after either Mom or Dad, she will be set! Plus, they’ve both got great smiles and lots of laughter-a very good place to be born into, Miss Avery! Congratulations to you, Rebecca and Brian. I am so happy for your family! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Clive and his crew…

June 16, 2013

Clive is the CUTEST little puppy I’ve seen in quite some time. He is only a few months old, and is a little English Bulldog. I was soo very excited when Liza contacted me about photographing she and her husband, Kelly, with their new puppy!! Anyone that knows me well, knows how very much I love puppies. And, put together puppies and photography+a gorgeous, loving couple+beautiful summer light…and you’ve got a very happy photographer! πŸ™‚ This was so much fun for me to do. So different from the normal, yet it felt quite the same as chasing around a one-year-old toddler as well. Come here, Clive! Sit Clive! πŸ™‚ I just LOVED it! Thanks again, to you, Liza and Kelly, for sharing your little dude with me. Clive is the best! I’ll babysit anytime. Enjoy your sneak peek!

What a fun family…love this bunch!! I haven’t seen Andrew and Emily since he was just days old at his newborn session back in October. Such a big boy now, and full of smiles, giggles, and cute little grins. He sure does looooove his Momma and his sister, too. Β This was the perfect way to start out my Monday morning, and just loved our results. Just fun and loving all around!! πŸ™‚

Ali and Ava…

May 15, 2013

Aren’t these sisters just absolutely adorable? I almost named this post Adorable Ali and Ava, but then I thought that might be a bit much! πŸ™‚ But, seriously, aren’t they?? Loved working with these two cuties and their great Mom! Big sister Ali, has the best little smile and was always doing such a good job holding up and watching out for her little sister. So very sweet and kind-hearted! And, little Miss Ava is just precious. I loved her little two teeth that show when she smiles and her big ol’ grin was to die for. Such a fun morning with beautiful little ladies. Doesn’t get much sweeter than that! Thanks for sharing your girls with me. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Big sister, Ali!

Precious little sister, Ava!

LOVE this family! Such an awesome bunch. This is Ashleigh, one of the funniest people on the planet and cake-maker extraordinaire of BadAsh Bakery! Truly a talented lady! And, her handsome and quietly charming hubby Patrick….just a cool dude! Ashleigh also brought along her simply GORGEOUS Momma, Renee. This lovely lady doesn’t look a day over 35…pass some of those beautiful genes over my way, please! How do you do it? πŸ™‚ And, of course, the stars of the show: Shelby-the posing queen, Patrick-with his cool vibe stare, and little man Gibson-who just kept us all on our toes the whole time….but, who can resist those big brown eyes and a scruffy Ewok lovey? Surely, not me! I had so much fun capturing y’all with my camera. I hope you like what you see here. More to come! Enjoy…and thanks for being so awesome. Love you guys!! πŸ™‚

Awaiting Baby “M”!

January 15, 2013

I am so excited about this next year and spending some special milestone moments with this fun couple as they are one of my newest families to take part in the Little Gifts Newborn Club. Simone and Logan are awaiting the arrival of their first child sometime within the next few weeks. They are so very excited, and can’t wait to find out if they need to run out and buy pink or blue for their newborn session! They wanted to capture some photographs of them together as two before they are a family of three! Can you believe how beautiful Simone is? I mean, seriously, who is this fabulous with only a few weeks to go until delivery? Beautiful! I had so much fun laughing with these two, and enjoying a 70 degree day in January! We couldn’t believe our luck. I’m so happy for you both, and cannot wait to get that phone call soon that I’ve got another session to schedule…and if I should bring blue hats or pink! πŸ˜‰

Amazing how bright green “weeds” of clover appear in the dead of winter! Loved this splash of color! Gorgeous!

Saturday could not have been any more perfect for our last day of Mini Sessions in 2012! I am so very incredibly blessed to spend time with these families! Thank you, to each of you, for choosing my little company to capture these moments for you! I can’t wait for you to see them all, but, to tide you over I have picked a few of my favorites from each set. We had a super successful day! Please be patient, lots of beautiful faces heading your way! Enough said…Enjoy! πŸ™‚
