There are some people who just cannot take a bad photograph! I mean seriously, not one bad picture in the bunch. And, this weekend, I was blessed enough to have not one but two little girls who have such wonderful luck! Meet Maggie and Emily, two very sweet sisters who had a great time at their photo session. We laughed and smiled through the whole session and kept it fun! I loved working with them and seeing them actually enjoy their time in the spotlight. I had the hardest time picking out which images to feature here. They are seriously all so great! Loved meeting you all and I hope you see some here you love as well. Enjoy! π

Sweet Sisters, Maggie and Emily!
August 17, 2011Gray is Sitting and Smiling!
August 17, 2011I cannot believe how big and beautiful Miss Gray has become! Well, to be honest, she’s always been quite beautiful. π Now she just keeps on growing up, too! I had the honor of photographing Gray for her “Sitting and Smiling” session on Saturday along with her sweet parents. I absolutely adore the images we captured of their family and hope that it conveys their sweet love for each other. They are happy, make each other laugh and smile, give sweet snuggles and, most importantly, they ALL smile with unmeasured pleasure at the fun of Miss Gray being tossed in the air by her Daddy. Love it! Enjoy the sneak peek of Gray’s session!
My favorite shot of the day is below! This baby girl is LOVED!! π
Reed rides solo!
June 22, 2011When you are the youngest of 4 children, I would guess that it’s not very often you get to have moments all to yourself! π I have photographed Reed before with his big brother and sisters, but this week it was all about him. Just him. The baby of the family. His cute little hands with fat dimples. His cute laugh. His adorable little crinkle-nose smile when he looks at his Momma. And, his BIG BLUE EYES! oh my! Swoon. Loved it! Reed, I so enjoyed getting to hang out with you and your mom. You are a blessed little boy to have such a great family! Enjoy your sneak peek!
Wes and Jake…
June 22, 2011What a sweet family of little boys! Meet 2-year-old, Wes and his new little 3-month-old little brother, Jake! Photographing children these ages definitely has its challenges, but these sweet boys did such a great job the other night. I so enjoyed meeting little Wes with his charming little smile, eagerness to please his parents, and constant on-the-go movement as he explored the world around him. And, precious little Jake…oh my! This little blue-eyed boy is so adorable and had the sweetest smile, especially for his Mommy! Gotta love a Mommy smile. π Thanks for sharing your boys with me, Tori and Daniel. You have a beautiful family!
Meghan, John & Nick…
June 3, 2011My children have been blessed with wonderful teachers. This year, for the first time, both my children’s teachers were young mothers themselves. So, for their Christmas gift, I gave them a photo session for their children. This week, I had the joy of meeting and photographing Isabella’s first grade teacher’s children. Meet Meghan, John and Nick…so adorable. It is so fun to work with “older” children and I am so very happy with the images that we captured the other evening. I had a hard time choosing which ones to blog. I love that these images show the fun that this family obviously has together. Laurie, thank you for being so wonderful to my Isabella this year. I hope that y’all are happy with our results and that you have a FABULOUS summer! π
Just one of my favorites of each of the children…
These last ones are my FAVORITES of the night…and they happen to be in b/w, too! π
Evie and Colt…
June 3, 2011Oh what fun was this session! I haven’t seen this family in almost 2 years and couldn’t believe how big Mr.Colt was! He is now 4-years-old and has become a big brother to little Miss Evie since then! This family was so much fun and such troopers in the H.O.T. summer heat the other night. I adored that we started out the evening with a more “traditional” look and then transitioned into the kiddos favorite dress-up clothes for some casual and fun photos. The cowboy outfit actually was Colt’s Dad’s when he was a little boy…a true classic and this little man was SO happy to be in his cowboy getup and boots. It was beyond cute. And, little Evie…so serious…but happy! I didn’t mind the lack of smiles because those inquistive BIG blue eyes are just to die for. Jennifer and Collin, you have a beautiful family. Hope you love your sneak peek!
Luke is Four!
May 20, 2011This gorgeous little guy is SO much fun! I actually began my Β journey photographing Luke when he was inside his mommy’s tummy for some maternity photos! And now, he is FOUR! How time flies and now his gorgeous mommy is pregnant again with a new little sister due in August! Luke had the best time at our photo session the other day. It was such a great hour of time with this sweet family and celebrating the cuteness of Luke. Thank you, Steve and Emily, for sharing your little guy with me for all these years. π
Spring Mini Sessions…Round One!
April 25, 2011I love Mini Sessions!! They go by so very quickly and I get the opportunity to interact with so many different families. It is such a joy. Some “old” faces and some “new” faces…but all beautiful faces! π God provided us a lovely spring evening to enjoy and photograph. Thanks to everyone who participated. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
First up was Miss Abigail. A quick shoot just for her since she ended up being sick the day of her session a couple of weeks ago. These smiles made it worth trying a 2nd time around!
Next was a new 1:17 family, and I so loved these two cuties. I ended up with soo many cute photos of these two. Meet Reese and Ryan!
Anna Grace and her brother, Peyton were up next. I hadn’t seen Anna Grace since I had shot her newborn session and couldn’t believe how big she was. 18 months and 7 months can definitely be a challenge to photograph together, but I am pleased with our results and love these two little smiles! π
I usually photograph these next two, Addie and Trent, at my Mini Sessions in the fall. We switched it all up this time and did their session in the spring. To add to the fun, we added in their Mom and Dad for this set. I adore the love and joy this family shares. The snuggles are the best! π
Jackson was next, and he’s getting SO big I can hardly stand it! I have photographed him since he was around 4 months old, and he is about to be 2 years already. His brown eyes are so soulful…they just melt me! Love him!
I photographed Miss Molly, her sister, Adalynn, as well as her mom at her newborn session in January. This spring it was time for all the family, including Dad, to get a portrait together. Again, photographing a 21 month old and a 3.5 month old can be very challenging; however, this family just smiled and looked beautfiul through the entire thing. Arent’ they all just gorgeous? π
I haven’t seen this family in about 3 years and it was so good to reconnect! These sweet sisters have added a brother into the mix and this session was mostly about capturing him at this age. He has these a-maz-ing blue eyes…swoon! π However, we had to do a quick one with all three of them! Love it!
Last up for the night was one of my favortie sets of twins…Katie and Erika! These precious sisters have become somewhat of my Mini Session “regulars” and they did such a good job Saturday night. Like many others, this was their first session with me in the Spring instead of Fall.Β I so enjoyed seeing them in their sweet white dresses and sharing love with each other. It was the perfect ending to a fabulous night! π
Carter is One!
April 15, 2011Oh, little man, Carter! You and those killer blue eyes! And, that precious little smile. Don’t even get me started on those little feet that you kept crossing. Happy #1 little guy! I so enjoyed spending time with you this week. I’ll just get straight to what you came here to see. Carter’s photos are just adorable! Love! π
Emily, Abigail & Julia…
April 15, 2011Oh, I just love sisters!! So sweet and tender with each other. Meet Emily, Abigail and Julia. Emily is the sweet big sister and has the most precious calm personality. Abigail and Julia are her twin sisters. They are so cute with their curls! Although the little ones weren’t 100% sure that they wanted to participate in our session, we still managed to capture them at their cute age. The girls are about to move to Florida next month…I am so jealous but know they will love their new life! Thank you for allowing me to share a moment in your life, little ones! π
This was my favorite one of the girls together. Forgive me for showing it twice, but I absolutely couldn’t decide if I liked the b/w or vintage coloring best! Sharing both!
And now, individuals for all of the girls. Each one has beautiful eyes! π
