This sweet girl and those beautiful big, brown eyes and precious smile! LOVE!! We had one main purpose at this session, which was to capture Miss Emily in her 1st Communion dress. I photographed her big sister at this same spot in this same dress a few years ago. It’s always a pleasure seeing this beautiful family. We laughed and smiled and most definitely accomplished our goal. Emily, you are beautiful!! 🙂 
And, big sister, Maggie, came along and jumped in a few shots as well. It’s no secret I love photographing sisters…this is just another example of why! Thanks girls for making my job so much fun! 🙂

When your first few clicks of the shutter produce images like these, you KNOW it’s going to be a super fun and beautiful session. I was thrilled to have Miss Lydia and her parents back again this year to mark her 2nd birthday! What a beauty this little girl is! Oh my goodness, just darling. Her curls and big blue eyes just captured me right away. And then, she talked and talked to me and was just too precious with her little words and screams at the ants and bugs. She’s quite hilarious and kept me laughing the entire time. I feel so honored to have been able to capture her adorableness once again. What a sweet angel you guys have! Thank you for sharing her with me.She’s a living doll!! We grabbed just a few quick ones with Mom and Dad, too. My favorite is the last one in black and white where she spontaneously leaned over and snuggled into her Momma. So sweet!!

Brecon is too cute!! Don’t you just love his blond hair and shining eyes? And, that cute little grin is just a lil’ heart-breaker waiting to happen. This little man was such fun. Loved his fascination with the bullfrog in the pond..haha! Even though it was much more interesting than I could ever hope to be. 🙂 Regardless we ended up with some great photos of this very photogenic little man. Loved how he kept calling me “Jewie”…so precious. I almost took him home with me, but I think his Mom and Dad would kinda miss him. You can tell from their photos below with him that they are pretty enthralled with their guy…as they should be! Sweet little buddy! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek…lots more to come! 🙂

I just LOVE comparing old pictures of sweet children that I’ve photographed down the years as they grow. Here’s sweet little Sadie Ann back in 2006:

And, here she is today, having just celebrated her 10th birthday and sporting some very adorable braces, too! 🙂

There’s something wonderful about things that don’t change. And, this precious family is proof of the phrase, “If it’s not broken, why fix it?” We’ve been meeting for years at Memorial Park…always around 5pm, always near the end of October, and always enjoying ourselves! I love how we chronicle the changes in their family every single year. It is such a joy and privilege to be asked to be a part of capturing their memories for them. Love ya’ll! 🙂

Happy, happy birthday beautiful Sadie Ann!! Can’t believe you are TEN!!

This session was such a JOY!! Meet Jane, Wyatt and their great parents, Lee and Mary-Dare. Mary-Dare put such thought into making this session so very special…from the outfits she picked to the activities planned…and the results are just beautiful. These children are so loving and kind, they gave me hugs all evening long and I just LOVED that. Made me feel so important! It just made for a fun atmosphere which was unstressed and perfect. And, I just adore this next part of our evening together. Lee and Mary-Dare lost a son, Mac, between Jane and Wyatt. She wanted to include him in the photo session somehow and I love, love, love the moment captured below. I’ll be honest, it was very TOUGH for me to keep my composure during these sweet moments as they wrote messages on balloons to their son and brother. They talked about him and that he is in heaven. And, then they let go of the balloons and sent them up to Mac. It was so beautiful, and such a precious way to remember a part of their family. I was privileged to capture this for ya’ll. Love this sweet boy and the adorable little faces he makes! He is all boy, all fun, all energy and ready to go! I can hardly believe he is already been bringing smiles to Abby and Michael for two years! Just love this great family! Thank you for always sharing your boy with me! 🙂

What a great way to end my “Spring” season with Ty and Lizzie! I take off the month of July and into the first part of August to be with my children and take some vacation time, so these two were my swan song for a couple of months! Great ending to a great season! I loved my time spent with these absolutely gorgeous little children! They have such sweet features and beautiful, expressive eyes! I loved Mr.Ty’s full out energy level! He kept me laughing and on my toes! 🙂 And, precious little Lizzie has the calmest spirit and adorable smile. Just loved it!
