Knox and his family!

September 27, 2011

These are my precious friends, David and Suzie and their sweet little man, Knox! We have all been friends for a very long time, and my husband and I love them dearly. I can hardly believe that little Knox is about to be 4 years old in December. I promise you it was just yesterday that we got the phone call that our long-awaited prayers for his adoption had been answered and I was summoned to go and capture his little newborn photos:

And, now, Knox is just a big ol’ boy! He is just a sweetheart of a kid and so very smart! I just love being around him because when you are with him, you just cannot help but to smile. Yes, he is that cute! πŸ™‚ Knox’s grandparents also came along for the session, and we were able to capture some sweet moments with the entire family as well as some individual ones of Knox interacting with his family. David and Suzie, I hope you know how much you are loved! And, I kinda like that little boy of yours a little, too…well, okay, I like him ALOT! Enjoy your sneak peek! πŸ˜‰

I love the guys faces on this next one, too cute!

Sweet little Knox-man…

And, my favorite little family shot of the day! I was trying to get a photo of just David and Suzie when Knox ran up and “interrupted” our moment. Doesn’t get much cuter than this~

Meagan and Savannah

September 7, 2011

One beautiful day + two beautiful sisters= One Perfect Photo Session!! I had such fun reconnecting with Meagan and Savannah this morning! God provided us with just perfect weather and the girls were so great for their session! I had a tough time deciding which ones to post here. Sweet sisters, beautiful colors, perfect light! Enjoy! πŸ™‚

I love when life “comes back around”! This week I was honored to photograph the family of one a dear friend from college days. Amy and Troy have three gorgeous daughters…absolutely gorgeous…with beautiful and fun personalities to match! Natalie, the oldest and a dancer, who is just about to start her first year of High School and who obviously is adored by her little sisters. Miss Caroline is the middle child and so sweet and adorable. She also reminds me the most of her mom in looks! πŸ™‚ And, then there is Miss Anna Kate, who is charming and SO funny. Kept me laughing the whole time. Even though it was a truly hot Memphis afternoon, we found a nice shady spot and had a great time together. Amy and Troy, I know you are so very proud of your family. They are beautiful little ladies inside and out! Hope you love what you see here…lots more to come! πŸ™‚

I LOVE this one of the three girls…

And, finally, some of each little beauty!

And, to end our little preview, how cute is this of the two youngest girls in their dress-up clothes? Gotta love it! πŸ™‚

Lainey is almost 4!

June 3, 2011

I’ve been photographing this beautiful little girl since she was only a few days old. There are some people who just cannot take a bad photograph…Lainey is one of those lucky people! This little lady is so precious. Full of personality, imagination, smiles, deep thoughts, and to top it off…she gives a GREAT hug! I adore all of these photos and am so happy with the colors of summer that come throughΒ in these photographs. Thank you, Aimee and Russ, for continuing to choose me to capture your little girl year after year. I know you know this…but she is awesome! Enjoy! πŸ™‚

Dawson and Parker!

May 20, 2011

Little boys are such fun! I’ve been photographing these two little ones since big brother,Dawson, was just months old and little brother, Parker, was just days old! What a joy to be asked to share in so many sweet memories for this family. Now Dawson is four and little Parker is almost two! Hard to believe. I so love working with this family and think these boys are simply gorgeous! Thanks for sharing with me! πŸ™‚

Adam Stephen is One!

May 2, 2011

I can hardly believe it has already been a year since I photographed this gorgeous little face:
Saturday was a crazy afternoon for photographing and we almost cancelled this session due to dark clouds and some sprinkles on our way into the Botanic Gardens. But…we were all there and they were dressed and ready to go! So we went for it. I’m so happy we did. Adam Stephen is clearly the little clown in the family. He was b.u.s.y!! Wow! On the go the whole time, but so adorable. Our main purpose was to photograph him for his one year portraits. Here’s a few of my favorites.

This was SO him…love it!

We also managed to squeeze in some family shots including big sisters Isabel and Iris as well as Mom and Dad. Aren’t they just the most beautiful family? Seriously! πŸ™‚ On this first one, I know that they aren’t looking at the camera, but I love that they are laughing and so natural looking. So cute!

So adorable! You’ve got to have a picture of Iris in the irises, right?

And, beautiful Isabel…

Norah Grace is Three!

April 20, 2011

It is always a privilege and so much fun to see a family year after year and watch their child grow. I first photographed Miss Norah when she was a newborn and I can hardly believe how grown up she has become. I think I have hair envy over those gorgeous blond locks…oh my word! And, the little pink glasses?? Don’t get me started. As the momma of a little boy who wore glasses since he was 3 years, I have a special spot in my heart for little cuties with their glasses…and the fact that they are pink just is perfect! We had great time playing around at My Big Backyard the other night; however, if it was up to Norah Grace, I am pretty sure the entire session would have taken place on the swings. She looooved them! Thank you, Jessica and Andrew for sharing your “baby” with me year after year! Enjoy!

A few with her Mom and Grandma…so sweet!

Bryant is One!

April 20, 2011

Another sweet boy has gone from this…

To this!! Wow! What a cutie-patootie! Love him and his cuteness! Happy First Birthday, sweet boy! πŸ™‚

Thank you for sharing this precious little boy with me! You’ve got a sweetheart with him! πŸ™‚

Hart, Annie, & Wilkes…

April 20, 2011

I just loved this family! As we were finishing up their session, I told them that I think they are the kind of family that my family would enjoy hanging out with on a Friday night. πŸ™‚ Just a family full of love, fun and laughter. Three children can sometimes be a challenge to capture, but not with these cuties. They seemed to have a great time at the Gardens exploring the beautiful, spring evening and just goofed-off with one another and laughed. Love it! Enjoy this sneak peek and thank you to the “G” family for a great evening! Y’all are just great! πŸ™‚

Love, love, love this set of ones of the kids. πŸ™‚

Lexi & Reese…

April 20, 2011

Remember this precious baby girl?

Miss Reese is such a big girl now! She’s sitting up and smiling and joining in with her big sister, Lexi, this time around! We met up last week during a very windy afternoon at the Botanic Gardens for their photo shoot. I’ve been photographing Lexi for several years and still cannot quite believe what a little lady she is now turning into. So beautiful and such a great big sister to Reese. I loved watching her patience and smiles for her. Reese wasn’t entirely in the best mood for photos that night for some reason, but we still managed to get some precious photos to mark this milestone time in her life. πŸ™‚

Love, love, love her big blue eyes!
