Welcome, Andrea!

Gorgeous, gorgeous girls!! Welcome, sweet little Andrea Dawn! This is the 2nd little girl in this family I have been privileged to photograph. What a joy! I can hardly believe how big and beautiful big sister, Norah Grace, has become. She was SOOO proud of her new little sister, and just so very sweet to her. I loved that the whole family was in on this session, mom/dad, big sis, Grandma and even Great-Grandma! There was a cousin there, too! This is one very loved little girl. So thankful she is here and safe! Thank you for sharing your daughter with me. It was so much fun spending time with all of you again. Hope you love this little peek….lots more to come! Enjoy! Shelby, Patrick and Gibson…

LOVE this family! Such an awesome bunch. This is Ashleigh, one of the funniest people on the planet and cake-maker extraordinaire of BadAsh Bakery! Truly a talented lady! And, her handsome and quietly charming hubby Patrick….just a cool dude! Ashleigh also brought along her simply GORGEOUS Momma, Renee. This lovely lady doesn’t look a day over 35…pass some of those beautiful genes over my way, please! How do you do it? 🙂 And, of course, the stars of the show: Shelby-the posing queen, Patrick-with his cool vibe stare, and little man Gibson-who just kept us all on our toes the whole time….but, who can resist those big brown eyes and a scruffy Ewok lovey? Welcome, Caroline!

What a beautiful family! Welcome, to little Caroline Grace! She is simply beautiful. She was just a little angel for her session, and barely made a sound. Couldn’t have asked for a better little baby. Big sister Madison Claire, and brother Mac were too cute as well. I love the groupings we ended up with. Preciousness with mom and baby, big sis with Momma and baby, sister and baby, and brother with baby, too! Love it! Welcome, Caroline! God has richly blessed your sweet family with your arrival. What a joy to be asked to capture this special time. 🙂 Be still my heart! How gorgeous is this mother/daughter image? Lauren, you are just glowing! 🙂 Love this! She was trying to help calm her sister down. So sweet! And this…precious! Little Mac was checking out Caroline and I think she was checking him out as well. 🙂

Spring 2013 Mini Sessions!!

FINALLY!!! SPRING IS HERE! Yes, I’m aware that all caps means that I am shouting, because I am! 🙂 After what seems to have been the endless winter and countless numbers of “spring” sessions rescheduled due to the winter-like conditions in Memphis this particular Spring, I’m in the mood for some happy shouting! So thrilled with the way these Mini Sessions turned out. The cold days have had one benefit…they’ve kept the daffodils around much longer than usual and I was thrilled to incorporate them into these sessions. The golden warmth of the Spring sun just shines in these happy faces. It was a perfect evening, and I so enjoyed playing in the warm evening with all my sweet little friends and their families. I hope you all love what you see so far! I had a hard time picking my sneak peeks, and that’s never a bad thing, right? Enjoy! 🙂

Kaylee and Kassidy…

Finally!! After a very long break from shooting outdoors during the winter months, I finally…FINALLY!!…got to shoot a beautiful session outdoors this past weekend. My shoots at Botanic Gardens in the fields of daffodils become a yearly tradition for us here at 1:17 Photography, and I truly love them so very much. They never disappoint, and neither did this sweet family of two sisters, Kaylee and Kassidy. Such sweet girls along with their parents and grandfather, we all enjoyed a beautiful spring day of 70 degree temps, warm sunshine and beautiful flowers. It’s a GIRL!! Welcome, Molly Kate…

I am SOOO excited for this family! I’ve been photographing this sweet bunch since the oldest brother was just weeks old. They have just added a new little one to their bunch, and waited until her birthday to find out if she was a boy or girl. And, WOW! Surprise! These two brothers now have a baby sister! So exciting to see Parker and Dawson love on their new little sister, Molly Kate. I know that she will be so adored and protected her whole life…lucky girl! And, my heart just smiled as I watched Molly Kate’s mom and grandmothers “ooh and ahh” over all the pink and frills Molly Kate sported during the session. So happy for this family! Congratulations, “H” family!! 🙂

Katie, Noah, Emily and Griffin…

Saturday was just beautiful outside in Memphis, until about 3:30pm, which is just about when this family’s session was slated to start. The clouds darkened, the lightning was off in the distance, and inside I was beginning to panic. But, I should’nt have worried. God was good and the rain happened all around us; but, we were able to get the session completed with no problems! YAY! And, I am so very glad because this set of siblings was so gorgeous and sweet and ready to go! We managed to get lots of smiles and sweet moments…I’d call it a huge success! Lily is One!

I can hardly believe this sweet girl turned a year old on Sunday! It’s been such a fun year watching Miss Lily grow up from a little baby into a big girl. It was a joy to meet with her and her family in the lovely colors of Fall at the Botanic Gardens and celebrate a wonderful first year! Thanks for sharing your lovely girls with me! Alice is Sitting and Smiling!

My sweet lil niece is getting so big so very quickly! She has stolen the hearts of our entire family, but especially those of her big sisters. We both found some time in our busy schedules a couple of weeks ago for a quick morning session of Alice, Olivia, and Lucy. I just love these sweet girls so very much, and I’m thrilled to get the opportunity to capture them “growing up” right before my eyes. Love you, girls! Cooper is Sitting and Smiling!

Warning: Extreme Cuteness Alert!! Gerber Baby ahead…pinch-able cheeks and all! 🙂 Sweet lil Cooper is getting to be such a big boy! He is sitting and almost ready to crawl any minute. And, he is sooo cute, ya’ll, with a grin that’ll steal your heart! Love working with Cooper and Chase! So proud of big brother, Chase, too. He did such a good job at the session as well. A sweet family, precious boys, and a session full of smiles! A photographer can’t ask for much more than that, can I? Love it!
